Actually they said proxy is FAK. In any case, you cannot solve a problem unless you address its root cause. Afghanistan has already been bombed multiple times and there has been no change in outcomes. Repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the very definition of insanity.

Right, that's why I suggest disproportional attacks on Afghanistan. They have no way to defend or counter attack. Only thing they can do is send terrorists which they already do.

Right, that's why I suggest disproportional attacks on Afghanistan. They have no way to defend or counter attack. Only thing they can do is send terrorists which they already do.

But ISPR claims, correctly, that the real sponsor is India. What is the point of killing some foot soldiers, assuming you can find them, and doing nothing against the puppet masters ? India will just find someone else to do their bidding. Why not attack India to teach them a lesson ?

Looks like what ever is happening in Badshakan is starting to hurt afghandu pashtoon talibans, same people celebrate TTP attacks in Pakistan. Not sure if Pakistan is involved though.

Static and clearly marked checkposts become liability at night. An alternative could be to vacate the location to a nearby defensive position that is low-key and good for ambush on hostile elements- using checkposts as bait. Or instead of vacating checkpost, adopting a layered defensive approach by scattering personnel around the checkpost to protect it 360 degree.

Terrorist attack on joint police checkpost in KP’s Tank martyrs 15, including 14 security personnel: ISPR​

A terrorist attack on a joint police checkpost in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Tank district martyred 15 people, including 14 security personnel, the military’s media wing said on Friday.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that the attack took place early on Friday and was carried out by Fitna-al-Khawarij — a term used to designate members of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.

Elaborating on the incident, the military’s media wing said the attackers attempted to breach the checkpost’s perimeter, but their attempts were “swiftly and decisively foiled by the vigilant and resolute response of security forces.”

The security personnel deployed at the checkpost displayed “unwavering courage and professional excellence” and engaged and eliminated 15 terrorists, the ISPR added.


The statement added that the attackers then rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the perimeter wall.

“Due to [the] blast impact, infrastructure at [the] checkpost was seriously damaged; resultantly, 15 brave sons of [the] soil, including 12 military, two policemen and a government official ex forest department, rendered the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat (martyrdom),” the statement read.

ISPR added that a sanitisation operation was ongoing to track down any other terrorists in the area, vowing that under the “relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision ‘Azm-i-Istehkam’ (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country”.

“These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs,” ISPR said.

Afghandu never needed India orders to kill Pakistanis. In fact Taliban after gaining power is begging India to restart $$ transfers because the terrorism they are doing.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of the Kohat Excise Office and a Customs official were martyred late Thursday night, while another Customs official was seriously injured after terrorists ambushed a government vehicle at a joint check post on the Indus Highway in Kohat, setting it ablaze, Rescue 1122 said.

According to police, the attack took place near the Kohat Toll Plaza, where unidentified terrorists opened fire on the customs vehicle, causing it to catch fire.

The deceased were identified as ASI Sajjad-ul-Islam of the Kohat Excise Office, who was performing his duty at the joint check post, and Customs Enforcement Constable Jawad Ahmed of the Peshawar Collectorate, a resident of Chakdara, Rescue 1122 said.

Another Customs official, Basirullah, a resident of Karak, sustained serious injuries and was shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Kohat after receiving first aid.
