Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Terrorism Watch

Let's call this what it really is. All this political chaos is completely manufactured just to control resources, protect money laundering, and line the pockets of corrupt insiders. Most of these problems aren't even hard to fix, they’re self-created crises designed to keep the establishment relevant. Don't try to scare people with Taliban and India...(boogeyman syndrome)...and if you can't even handle what you are paid to do, then why are we paying you? Your job is to protect the boarders and not create internal crisis.

To stay in power, they surround themselves with bootlickers and yes-men. But their total incompetence shows every time they have to go back to the IMF with a begging bowl. They’ve pushed this nation to absolute rock bottom, and people are fed up. If this keeps up, things could explode worse than what we saw in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, or the Arab Spring. In a country of 250 million, if even five million people hit the streets, it’s game over for the establishment.
I think this same old, regurgitated narrative has outlived its utility. Perhaps its cathartic for you to do so thus you state the same over and over.

I can challenge you on every single one of these items starting with "Most of these problems aren't even hard to fix" and I can guarantee that you aren't the only one who has thought about these or tried to fix them using what you propose in the past.

The reality on the ground is quite different from our pacified assessments of "what's wrong with our country". Its never one thing. It is a convoluted mess that has been shaped over years and decades. This is why, Pakistan will continue to improve incrementally in some areas, regress in others. I don't expect anything else.

You mention IMF programs, we have had 25! This is across every single government (civilian or military), political party and dispensation that one can imagine, yet we have never graduated from a single one successfully. Why is that every single dispensation has failed at it? Or that not a single one of our governments has been able to get our tax collection to what is expected of a country the size of Pakistan's.

As you say, let things explode. For some odd reason, some people are constantly looking for this amazing "revolution". Whatever revolution comes to Pakistan, it will be far worse for Pakistanis than it is today. Libya, Syria will pale in comparison and expect extra-regional powers to have a solid go at reshaping Pakistan. This is why I think it is better to have evolutionary changes. That will take time. It will be painful and there will be reverses, but the people of Pakistan will be better off in the long run.
