Kuwait Announces a Joint Defence Cooperation Agreement with Pakistan

can be more harsher statement among Arabs about Pakistani army in Middle East...don t feel like posting ...

Why lose the opportunity? Just say it.

Arabs, be states or people, can never win the propaganda war in Pakistan. Anti Arab sentiments in the region go back to the 8th century.

Persianised Arabs are however acceptable in the region and it's subcultures.

Americans take them for a ride, charge them billions for illusion of security, we will cost them just in millions and at the end its win win for both nation

Please teach them to negotiate better lol

Pakistan is not seeking defence agreement with any country , right now , Pakistan is playing 'hard to get '....rest assured, Pakistan is not selling herself short.

Bhaijaan, I know.
There is such a thing as tongue in cheek.

Sometimes it is better to just close the discussion, then continue with stupidity. Plus, given the choice I would rather argue with non Pakistanis, we do enough of it amongst ourselves already.

Kuwait, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has a history of military cooperation, in which Pakistan defended them.
Dates back to first Gulf War in 1991 .

Back then was a similar situation, a Muslim cpuntry, Iraq was threatening Kuwait and Saudis, and they asked Pakistan to defend them.
Pakistan being an arse licker of Iran, refused.
Then as second option Americans were called in , and tgey are still in the middle east.

Its good that Pakistan learning from history and this time not doing the same mistake under Iranian pressure.

This time iran is the aggressor against the Arabs. Same as in 1991 , it was Iraq.

Indian Belligerent approach to strike Pakistan with heavy weaponry has pushed Pakistan to do some out of box thinking.
After May 2025, Pakistan has realized that it is too poor to sustain even a 10-days full blown conventional war against India on its own so some strong allies are required that can support Pakistan in some meaningful way.
Middle Eastern Arab states also face the same problem from Iran and its proxies. So these kind of pacts are mutually beneficial if pursued with proper commitment.

Commitment is the key here and can only be ensured if the interests are mutually beneficial otherwise these agreements are a waste of paperwork.

another lame attempt at problem solving.

although, it could be beneficial if can convert this agreement into:

1. cheap supply of world class engineers and doctors
2. risk averse rupee (local currency) supply to encourage FDI
3. improved strategic depth and choices
4. expanded water resources
etc etc

otherwise, total waste of time!
