Learjet 60 crashes in Florida - Crashes 9 Miles from Mar-a-Lago

My brother made a very good point.

It's uncommon to have precipitation at 35,000 ft at -47 °C. The pressure would ensure any water condensate is forced into the ground, as a water droplet is heavier than air.

She reported precipitation, which usually means supercooled liquid droplets, which means it could basically appear out of nowhere, giving the pilots no time to react.

It is said radar onboard LearJet 60 is usually not very good and the tail heater for the anti- icing is notorious ineffective and if you got tail icing and tried climbing it could lead to a stall and over speed and the tail be ripped off ? This one theory the investigators could look into. Obviously we don’t know if that’s what happened to this Lear Jet.

I already answered your question. She is a young, attractive female who was a bit of a celebrity having obtained her pilots license before she had her driver's license.

Just saying in WW2 the average age of aviators was 20-22 years old. I did some research in Vietnam war, the average age of a Helicopter pilot was 20-22 years old. They proved to be bravest and excellent pilots. We have no idea what her experience was.

The youngest pilot during WW2 is 19 IIRC

Even today, a Naval Academy pipeline pilot from Cessna to Bombing enemy in Hornets only take 250-300 flight hours.

As my previous post, pilot ages and flight hours are largely irreverent to this.

Coming back to her what provided by the copilot lady audio was unusually detailed. For most of the recording she knew that they were doomed. I think that she was trying to leave us a record of their situation to remove mystery and possibly help others in the future. Stayed professional and clear through it all.

I think the ATC asked all the right questions, notice that most of what the co-pilot said is to answer what the ATC asked.

But yes, she provided the investigator a few important clues that is going to help the investigation a lot, especially since it is unlikely the black box is intact and functioning after this.
