The ceasefire will come into force in a few hours

Will Hezbollah enforce the Tel Aviv for Beirut equation before the ceasefire starts after a long day of relentless carpet bombing of Beirut and most cities of Lebanon by Israel?

Great news, Israel has effectively defeated Hezbollah by destroying nearly its entire leadership. It will take years for Hezbollah to recover.

So, why agree to ceasefire if Hezbollah has been destroyed?

A winning army would have continue until Lebanon is under full control.

Fact of the matter is, Hezbollah beat the shit out of your punk raggedy ass solders at the battlefield. You cowards are good at killing unarmed baby and women. Zionist cowards are not even worthy of an enemy.

This is why it’s extremely odd that Hezbollah accepted a ceasefire which allows Israel to restock their weapons, rest, and get reorganized.

If recent reports are true, it's because the US threatened UNSC sanctions. Sure they were taking casualties on the ground but "Israel" doesn't care about it's own citizens' lives; they slaughtered their own on October 7th in massive numbers and have killed the POWs Hamas took. They can keep bombing civilians for as long the US continues giving them the bombs, once that stops they stop.

I've explained this before a million times, and the US has experienced this itself in multiple wars. Groups like Hezbullah don't give a shit about losing their leadership, because the way their command structure is built, leaders can be easily replaced.

Hezbullah's almost entire top leadership has already been replaced.

In Afghanistan and Iraq, the US killed off the leaders of the Taliban and Iraqi resistance every other week, only for them to be replaced.

The US killed the taliban's top 3 leaders during the war, it's changed nothing.

Israel didn't win this. The ceasefire is a victory for Hezbullah, because Israel gained nothing.

Israel achieved none of its strategic goals.

Israel achieved none of its tactical goals.

Israel failed to capture and hold on to a single village.

Israel failed to wipe out Hezbullah.

Israel changed its goal to disarm Hezbullaj and failed to achieve that.

This ceasefire doesn't even give Israel the right to attack Hezbullah or it's Syrian supply route in a preemptive way, which was the main thing Israel wanted. It's not even clear what Israel even got from this ceasefire that isn't humiliating for them.

In every aspect, this was a decisive failure on Israel's part.

All Hezbullah had to do was keep the Israel invasion at the border, and survive.

Hezbullah stopped Israel's invasion at the border with what apparently ended up being only a 1/5th of its total manpower.

Hezbullah survived.

Hezbullah continues to retain its military capability on a decent scale.

Hezbullah's influence has increased across the region as a result of its successes against Israel, as it ended up showing Israel is nothing more than a paper tiger.

While i do think Hezbullah had major tactical failures, this was a clear cut strategic victory for Hezbullah.

They do not want peace because they want expansion of borders. We will find out soon what happens and if this was a big mistake like I believe it is.

I understand your concerns which is very very widespread among Iranians who support Palestine.

All I can say is our assessments are limited because we do not know details.

This.

The only thing I can see is if the US threatened to directly intervene, which i doubt.

Take the Azerbaijan-Armenia war. Azerbaijan only stopped because the Russian threatened military action. Once Russia got distracted by Ukraine, Azerbaijan finished the job.

A winning invading army doesn't sign ceasefires, it acknowledges the enemy's declaration of surrender.

Israel lost, plain and simple. It gained nothing from this entire ordeal.

Gaza is probably next, as I'm convinced Biden is gonna force a ceasefire there as well before leaving office, just to spite Trump.

On a side note, expect more dead civilians in Syria, Gaza, and the West Bank as a result of this failure by Israel.

Zionists bastard are killing their innocent civilians. If killing continues, cowards so called sunni fake Muslims will turn against Hezbollah and that will not be a good thing.

Is West Bank Arab-related or that is also Iranian-related?

West Bank is under land grab more and more. West Bank is next in line.
Just go ahead and say Abbas is also Iranian agent.
The West Bank s under Israeli occupation..so what are you trying to talk about..

What?

Sunni fake Muslims? Let’s not be sectarian here. Let’s pin this ceasefire agreement on Lebanese Sunnis or maybe even Christian Lebanese since they are “out” to get Hezbollah. I hate to break it to you but many Sunni Lebanese fully support Gaza even if they have differences with Hezbollah.

There will always be traitors whether Sunni Shia or Christian but a very large majority of people support their own countries against any invading army.

Christy X-Tian Lebanese don’t share your feelings at all. I’ve talked to many and they want France to come on in anytime and reoccupy Lebanon and declare it a Christy X-Tian country allied with Israel.

The Christian Lebanese I know disagree with your sentiment. Let’s not paint them with a broad brush on siding with an invader against their own countrymen. I’m sure some have a disdain for Muslims but from the ones I know they are extremely vocal that the majority of Christians support the resistance and even Palestine.

As a Palestinian, Christian and Muslim Palestinians are united against our oppressor. I am keen on believing my Lebanese friends in that regard.
