US has apparently given Israel 'permission' to remain in some parts of south Lebanon beyond the 18th February deadline

but some reports give conflicting information. we have to wait and see. the Lebanese state has rejected Israel's request to stay beyond the extended deadline.

as you were told many times, the responsibility for this deal is with the Lebanese state and armed forces, not Hezbollah.

nonetheless, if the state proves incapable of forcing Israel to withdraw, then Hezbollah will be forced to return to the field and will have legitimacy to act. currently it does not have that legitimacy.

and references to "Bollah" are obviously childish attempts at trolling that only make you look pathetic.

Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire so it must take ALL responsibility for whatever transpires afterwards. Lebanese army is impotent and a French/US tool isn't that what Hezbollah supporters claim?

I thought Hezbollah was the "Real Army of Lebanon", "defender of Lebanon", these are Shia areas that vote and support Hezbollah that Israel has taken in Southern Lebanon, that Israelis aren't withdrawing from to allow for citizens to return.

This is Hezbollah's responsibility. Maybe less time defending Captagon Smuggling routes and more time defending what they claim is their reason for existing(defending Lebanon against Israel)

The Lebanese state agreed to the ceasefire, Hezbollah is not a party to it and said they will respect whatever the state agrees, which is what they did.

If the state proves unable to force Israel to abide by the ceasefire, then Hezbollah will have legitimacy to act again.

Lebanese army deserve a chance to prove their ability to protect Lebanese territory.

major provocation by Israel and embarrassment to Lebanese state

Opponents of Hezbollah claim Israel only does these acts because Hezbollah provokes them. But Hezbollah is abiding by the Lebanese state's ceasefire with Israel and not doing anything to 'provoke' Israel, which is still flying low over Beirut to terrorise civilians.

Good learning moment for Lebanese people.

"they will respect whatever the state agrees"

When did Hezbollah turn in to a "state respecter"?

There are many things the state would ask of Hezbollah, that Hezbollah would never agree to, so why act as if Hezbollah suddenly cares what the state thinks?

Does Hezbollah not have any obligation to the Shia citizenry of South Lebanon who can't go back to their homes? They are afterall the biggest support Bloc for Hezbollah, they picked Hezbollah over even Amal.

If the Israelis start with the offensive on Saturday in Gaza, Hezbollah should look to restart the operations to take by South Lebanon and provide support to Gaza, as they claim to be doing. Where is True Promise 3? It seems to me to be a case of Hezbollah saying they support Gaza, but decided to disengage from the support, and then When Hezbollah needed help, Iran decided to disengage for its own interests.
