israel is expanding the ground operation on the account of the drone warfare, and walking right into Hezbollahs trap. The strategy, as I see it, is to lure the enemy in, let them get cozy and set up camp, and then the fun begins. Bleed the enemy in a attritional war.
Hezbollah has some scores to settle.

I wouldn't say Hezbollah wants that but neither does the IDF in all likelyhood but the drones effectiveness against equipment and IDF occupying forces has caused Israeli political leadership to demand frantic measures that haven't been studied well
