My suspicion is the US is trying to play good cop before the Israeli attack. They will likely help with ammo, intelligence maybe refueling too, a way to avoid blow back.

So far Israel is very limited in their ground offensive. They have hardly travelled two km into Labenese territory and these probing attacks seem to have sobered up their leaders that they DO NOT want full scale invasion. They seem to be having hard time dealing will small villages let alone moving their armour through valleys and narrow passes. They have not forgotten their 2006 invasion losses.

It would be smart to be prepared for all scenarios. Netanyahu is overreaching and can't 'change face of Middle East', but he believes the genocide in Gaza has startled people and also believes he can get support to commit further genocides. Like someone on edge wondering how long the US support will continue for. As he sees if that support dries up, then his big claims and attempted power moves will fail to manifest. It's time to threaten Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. This is a existential war for Islam and Arabs. These Jews will try to bomb the Prophets mosque in Medina if they could. Saudis, Egyptians, and Jordanians have had a entire year to choose their side, and they still haven't chose the side of Islam. On contrary, their media is rooting for Israel.
