the small number of IDF terrorists who make advances into small Lebanese border towns don't seem to last very long until Hezbollah liquidates them

As expected the hills and forests of Southern Lebanon are ideal for ambush warfare.

Unlike Hamas, Hezbollah has the heavy mortars and anti-tank missiles to take out Zionists whether they are in armoured vehicles or in buildings.

Hezbollah is also likely shooting down enough drones with manpads/SHORADS to make effective real-time surveillance impossible for the Zionists and so aiding Hezbollah to ambush them.

compared to last war it seems each Israeli squad has small drones to use for surveillance in close quarters

this is a new development and must be dealt with

Yes but you need the likes of Hermes 450 to provide real time surveillance of all potential ambush locations that could be many kms from the Zionists about to be ambushed.

Thanks to the elevation of the hills of southern Lebanon, even with manpads Hezbollah may be able to reach the service altitude of drones like those.

Small drones can only provide very localised surveillance. Useful but not a game changer.

*This must have belonged to the Lebanese army as it fled from the south.. Hezbollah would have fought with all these goodies..

The Lebanese people should do themselves a favour and disband the "Lebanese Army". Save that money for investments into their country. The "Lebanese Army" are no value whatsoever, and have never been of value.
