Lebanon-Israel War | 2023-present

Hezbollah has been fighting well with the number of forces they have at the border... At this point more reinforcements for them would only hinder them and impede their successful guerilla attacks against IDF. So Houthis and other volunteers should only be held back as reserve until Iran and Hezbollah does something about the Israeli Air Force.

Overnight, the “Shayetet 13” Special Forces Unit of the Israeli Navy carried out a Covert-Operation in Northwestern Lebanon; with several Speedboats carrying Two Teams of Operators arriving at a Chalet in the Coastal Town of Batroun, to the South of Tripoli. The Goal of the Raid appears to have been the Capture of Imad Amhaz, a Senior Officer in the Lebanese Navy as well as Hezbollah, who is seen as a Significant Source of Naval Knowledge within the Organization.

Very embarrassing for the ‘Lebanese Army’ since he is part of the “official armed forces of Lebanon”..

They think this is a badge of honour as they “resolved” the situation peacefully by doing sweet f*all against the Zionist terrorists as always.

Zionists just casually walk into Lebanese “Army” “controlled” territory and abduct who they like, while in South Lebanon even Merkavas cannot stop them from being cooked by Hezbollah.

For the last month 80,000+ Israeli soldiers failed to penetrate more than a few kms of Lebanese territory or to hold ground in South Lebanon.

By contrast, a commando of 25 Israel special forces advanced approximately 200 kilometers (about 124 miles) into Lebanese territory to the north, which is under Lebanon’s military jurisdiction, & proceeded to kidnap a Lebanese licensed boat officer from his dorms in Batroun & retreat without having to fire a single bullet.

And they have the gall to demand Hezbollah hand in their weapons, withdraw from their own villages & territories & hand over the south’s defence to the military.

I thought Hezbollah is the protector of Lebanon, not of South Lebanon?

Where's Hezbollah's anti-ship missiles? Nasrallah was so proud of hitting an Israeli ship, now they enter Lebanon through the sea like nothing and take an alleged senior Hezbollah member?

Are you retarded or just disingenuous? Hezbollah would gladly take the mantle and be the "protector" of Lebanon but due to political pressure Hezbollah presence is mostly in southern Lebanon. Don't argue a strawman and answer the question posed, why is israel not able to penetrate more than 2-5 km in Hezbollah held territory?

Shut up dude, you can't BS me, Hezb portrayed themselves as the protectors of Lebanon, they're supposed to have anti ship capabilities, the Lebanese Army is poor and is in no condition to fight Israel, and if the guy they took was apparently a member of Hezbollah, how is it the failure of the Lebanese Army?

Sure, Hezbollah is fighting back, that's why. But Hezb went from "We will conquer the Galile" to "Israel cannot penetrate deeper than 2-5km into South Lebanon", and this number is rising, slowly but steadily, while Hezb has way more casualties than Israel every day. Almost everyone I know from Hezb is either dead or wounded, you think the situation is all fun and games? Lebanese people suffer greatly, whole villages were wiped out completely.
