Lessons for Pakistan from the Israel/Iran conflict of June 2025

If we don't blow up all P8is, we should be ready for Karachi port blockade in future conflicts. All the systems and specially brahmos that may target Pakistan should be neutralize in peace times, so that they may never be used in war times.
Do you know how escalating that would be? First we need hardened shelters for the Sea sultans ..I dont wanna see another mehran base attack scenario

Mehran attack took place even without us attacking any Indian asset. The thing is, if it's escalating so be it.

By highlighting the mehrab attack i meant the lack of hardend aircraft shelters we have for our expensive assets which makes them easy to target .

They will be a target if even we don't touch enemies assets. I mean, the mentality "if we don't do anything will save us" will not work. Specially when India helped Israel by actively engaging Pakistan in past 2 weeks on border, it's clear that Pakistan must destroy all Indian assets asap as top priority.

Pakistan needs a 50% reduction in government spending by replacing outdated bureaucratic structures with technology, automation, and AI. Eliminating ghost employees, digitizing payroll, and shifting routine work to automated systems would save billions. Fully digitalized land records would shut down land scams, fake mutations, and illegal ‘china‑cutting,’ creating a transparent, tamper‑proof system. A lean, efficient, tech‑driven state builds the foundation for a strong economy and a strong economy is what ultimately supports a stronger national defense.
The solution is staring Pakistan in the face, yet the politicians and their backers refuse to see it.

Cutting the expenditure, focusing on projects with high ROI (not the metro and gibberish), focus on Human development, making sure justice is dispensed (we all know what the current situation) and all institutions working within their constitutional parameters (the less the better).

Surely now we can call this a full reset for Pakistan from the WOT. How can you be involved in negotiating world peace but still be treated like an outcast or an afterthought.

Pakistan PM should be invited for multiple state visits to western nations and trade deals signed.

I think we are going way ahead of things, let the 1st round of Talks happen in Islamabad, and see what will be the outcome of this first meeting, remember we are dealing with some of the most stubborn people on earth so it wont be easy.
Once we do secure Peace, and also secure our borders trade will come anyway, we have 224 Million people market, we have natural resources, beaches, potential etc we need better honest leaders and end of terrorism inside Pakistan.

Kill Ajit Doval as war starts this time. Kills Amit shah if war starts this time.
Kill Gaurav Arya if war starts this time.

If you can't, be ready for such attacks again and again and again...

Why would you want Pakistan to remove the things that are taking indian society backward .?

Now that the current establishment and parties in power have found ways to win all elections despite of their performance and public sentiments , they shouldn't be caring about public sentiment and projects to make people happy instead of high ROIs. So this is the excellent time for doing some of such high ROI projects that you are talking about. If not now then when ?

Strong economy, strong defence, and strong friends in the neighborhood, that's what Pakistan needed. Otherwise, ya shaikh apni apni dekh ...

Times change very quickly in Pakistan.

Today, they’ve got all the glory and few weeks down the line they’ll be staring at the barrel.

Going back to the times Musharraf was doing fine politically and then during the saga of firing of the Chief Justice and with the help of Kiyani and ‘democrats’, Musharraf suddenly found himself fragile. IK and Bajwa same page, and everything came tumbling down. No permanent relationships, everyone is looking out for their own interests.

In this context, the political parties and their backers are always circumspect. I believe a change of mindset is needed here.

Dams, Rail network, Education, Healthcare above Metros, Motorways, Subsidies for elites.
