Correct regarding naturalized US citizens. They can have their citizenship revoked. Case in point: Josias Kumpf comes to mind as does Ibraheem Adeneye.I suspect many of the rioters at this point are citizens or legal residents who think they cannot be deported.
Newsflash for them: a naturalized citizen can be deported if they are convicted of certain violent crimes.
However, people who are born US citizens are probably safe from deportation. I know UK has deported people born in UK then convicted of terrorism but I don't think the US has such draconian laws for US born citizens (not sure).
Fawaz Mohammed Damrah is another one.
Stripping a naturalized citizen of citizenship is rare but it does occur. To date, less than 110 people have had their citizenship revoked. The vast majority were due to links with Nazism followed by those affiliated with terrorist organizations.
