Tunday kebabs and mehari are the best ever! old Delhi Kareem's and others cannot compare. People used to say he adds opium to his kebabs to make them that addictive..

Even our old chap Musharraf asked for him on his visit to India.

Lets be honest - Indian and largely South Asian cuisine doesn't need any acceptance/acknowledgement from French/Europeans.

Our cuisine was way more advanced thousands of years as it is now. Infact, if you study for any length) the practices of cooking and how cuisine was used as medicine you'll find that today's supposed practices - 16:8, Keto etc are archaic in comparison.

We need to ready/study, recognize, add a scientific rigor and then move the world a few levels up - the food practices of broader world (outside of the 3-4 centers of civilization) are lacking significantly.

Unfortunately being of part Lucknovi heritage - the problem is that those who truly could appreciate the taste and complexity of these meals - no longer occupy Lucknow in any number for a variety of both immigration abroad including Pakistan and those that remain either have emigrated or the ecosystem they had no longer exists.
