Its MİL-KANAT project which was initiated with the aim of producing indigenous turbine blades for natural gas-fired thermal power plants in Turkiye

The Project successfully developed and tested the first domestic superalloy turbine blades for natural gas power plants, completing an 8.000 hour performance trial






TUBITAK-MAM has been conducting studies on superalloys since the 1980s.
These materials are used in high-priority industries with strategic importance for Türkiye



Türkiye advances towards 100% domestic superalloy turbine blade production
Thanks to TUBITAK MAM that developed supperalloy turbine blades for MIL-KANAT project


Note : TUBITAK-MAM also developed single crystal blade for Turboshaft - Turbofan Engines including TEI TS-1400
