Israel wants the pact to work in the short term and for it to fail long term.

Iran wants the pact to fail in the short term but to work in the long term.

The pact knows this too and it’s organising to work in the long term and trying its best to not engage in the short term .

The Saudi expectation from Turkey in this trilateral framework is about being supplied with NATO standard weapons without the baggage of buying French, British, US, German, Italians, Israeli baggage.

The bin Salman al Sauds have been far more closely aligned with the French, British, US, German, Italians, Israeli than Erdogan. In fact, after the Khashoggi episode, Erdogan was actively trying to undermine MBS and was only forced to reverse course because of the economic crisis . And NATO standard weapons from these countries have long been easily available to the al Sauds and generally have superior track records and quality compared to what Turkiye can offer.

Turkey brings Tech, weaponry and NATO military expertise, the Saudis bring money and investment, and Pakistan the manpower and Nuclear Umbrella.

Pakistan's nuclear weapons are meant only for India and , in any case, will never be used against a non nuclear Muslim country.

Houthi issue cannot be resolved by bombing, sanctions or from the air. Needs 2-3 light infantry divisions and months of bloody close combat.

Absolutely. The Houthis arent disappearing by a few rounds of aerial bombardment.

Neverthless, if we look at the bigger picture, Houthis are absolutely needed against Israel. Make no mistaks, Israel has been itching to have a go at the Houthis in the last few days. I don't know what has stopped them thus far.

The Indians can jump up and down in this discussion, but at the end of the day Houthis will come to haunt them too. India is after all a firm partner of Israel.

Iran will always need the likes of Russia, China and India. They are major buyers of oil and gas. However, Iran and India share a very special relationship. I am told that it is a civilisational kind of relationship.
