Nah bhai i used to think the same way lol abhi jumma jumma 8 din hue hai US aye hue. But a lot of people needs to understand that US is huge, so its cities are also big and everything is far away, let me give you a example.
I lived in Gulshan Iqbal, from my house to Iqra uni clifton branch is 13 miles, now when you are in Karachi, just thinking about going to cliffton or beach area sounds so exhausting because it feels so far away in Karachi's traffic, but if you check the distance its roughly 13-14 miles, before i moved to my current apartment, i used to drive 19 miles (one way) to my office, that's 37 miles every day, in km its 59km. Imagine driving that everyday, and among of Gas/Petrol you have to put in your car. Specially in Karachi ki Khattara Roads.
You pay a little bit more but you have cheap alternative like Rickshaw, taxi, kareem, bikia etc here ubering for 1 week from office to work will give you a mini heart attack unless you are some top IT guy or making a good amount which a lot of poor/middle class are not.
