At the end of the day Pakistan smoothed tension and kept a lid, it was mediating for that more than changing core strategy of either party, which is impossible

Iran is seeking better terms with the USA, it's not really that different, they will cut deals but now it's for recovery of what they lost

First check irani minister response. Its a reaction against irani response through media. That single person is giving interview on media and its reaching millions of people so yes it has an impact on people and it create a narrative on social media .

US and Israel are doing what they been doing. We need to stop thinking we have any " say" in this whole situation. Iran knows his survival exist with Russia and China. Pakistan can t provide anything to Iran, mediation on the behalf of US. If we had elected govt then that would be different situation.

He's too eager for own good... guys like him jump ship... or sell short at first instance not knowing the stakes...

He was the one negotiating JCPOA... knowing that even back then Obama couldn't provide permanent relief on sanctions or release frozen assets. So, Obama played optics by using executive orders only for orange to come along and put paid to the whole agreement... how many years and how many parties involved... guarantors and all...
Even compliance failed to deliver. His example of China is also wrong
... because US came to China when IT needed China more... and so long as China longed for US ... it wasn't even recognized as a legitimate government... and if Gen. MacArthur had his way... would have been nuked as well during the Korean war.
Iran has to arrive at a stage where it is needed more than it's competition... which is why it is futile... the competition serves the buyer to get the best deal... it provides leverage to the US to walk away from current commitments and sign new, at better terms. It is here ... where, if the competition understands the folly of it all and mends ties for regional cooperation and improvement horizontally...
The assets tied up in the collective however keep anyone from making sound long-term regional investments. It is as if working with one hand tied behind your back. Either someone like orange will do it for you or one will have to make the hard decision locally.

Remember hindsight is 20/20... and China had the benefit of getting the pieces together, after a great price and to that end... Taiwan still stands out... that to a culture and language that is essentially a world unto itself.
