When you have people who can cry to Arab songs describing one thirst for a woman's behind as insatiable -- by not understanding it and thinking it is Quran recitation... then what can you expect when it has been the policy of a nation's regime(Iran's) to completely take over the theological and political messaging of a sect in Pakistan to inculcate loyalty to the Ayatollah is equated to loyalty to the Islamic faith...

Do you think it really stems from the ignorance we have in our culture/society etc, our limited knowledge of our deen simply being what we heard from someone or what we saw on ptv(in the good old days).
How i realised in adulthood that nobody really emphasised or forced us kids/teens to really read and understand the actual meaning/translation/tafseer of our Holy Book(Quran) as then that created its own issues when u confronted family or relatives or the numerous “dabba peers” everywhere or the local masjid imam ,as i call em, each pushed their own narratives down our throats and gave us a great certificate of being zabardast muslim.

Unfortunately it means we have a very very long way to go with our deen.
We’re too busy or vested in petty shitshows that we lost our real goal which shouldve been simple and straightforward and didn’t really need so much spoon feeding.
Now add geopolitics to the mix and its a recipe of major disasters on individual and collective levels.
