So far, Saudis have helped Pakistan every time we need them. Pakistan was mostly on the receiving end of those favours. But then we had never signed such agreement of defence with them. Saudis despite not considered very powerful military is usually ranked among top 3 importers of military hardware and their defence budget was 8 times larger than us.

I have overwhelmingly noticed one thing in last 24 hour. With this pact in place only Worst enemies of Pakistan & Islam are unhappy. The Indians, The Israelis and some Pakistanis who are seriously unhappy for NATO style defence pact among muslim nations because of their petty politics or sectarian bais.

I myself is against a hybrid system imposed on Pakistan currently. But I always had wished that Why muslim nations don't have a defense pact like Europeans / NATO ? Why we don't move towards this direction. Finally one such positive development is made and I see some deranged Iran worshiping with Pakistani flags in their profiles. Even though I 100% support Iran in this war, and I know for a fact this PACT is not against Iran. If 3 countries were TRULY anti-Iran then Why on Earth we didn't participated with US against Iran all together ? It was GOLDEN opportunity to act as US Puppets (as alleged by these Iran worshippers). Yeah i agree that adding the wrong nations can cause a lot more issues.

However Egypt, Jordan and azerbaijan are all relatively peaceful and can benefit the alliance.
