An interesting perspective.Yeah, that’s reasonable in theory. But the timing is a bit suspicious. And it’s a shame that Muslims could not unite in this way in response to a genocide.
The Gaza genocide arose due to Hamas falling into Israel's trap. Iran, Hezbollah and others in the resistance axis were left scrambling and reacting as a result of this.
Israel-US attacking Iran this year was entirely of their own choosing. Some would argue that Tel Aviv has itself walked into a trap, by triggering the formation of the one thing it sought to avert - a sunni axis that extends well, indeed mainly, beyond the Arab world. Pakistan and Turkiye bring their own interests to this axis and this is now something Israel has to reckon with in its future calculations.
I would argue that Iran's own resilience and avoidance of a rapid collapse against its enemies have led others to believe that there are ways to fight against the hegemony of US-Israel in the middle east. Of course, the ambition must come from within. This event might be regarded as a first step towards that ambition.
