Wishing you all a very Happy New Year with a tribute to PAF Mirages which served as a a major backbone as a Tactical Attack Fighter/Bomber for years. But fortunately, life moves on, looking forward ahead to something more desired and required.
Once again, Happy New Year to All
After almost five decades of training Mirage combat commanders for the Pakistan Air Force, the CCS Mirage "Skybolts" squadron has been number-plated as part of an ongoing process to retire aging aircraft and make room for the introduction of new, advanced aircraft.
The CCS Mirage Squadron, established in May 1975, marks the end of an era.
Number Plating is a process in the Air Force, in which all aircraft are grounded, and all personnel (including Pilots, Crew, and Technicians) are posted out to other squadrons.
