The World Cup stadium, a high-speed train, a huge theater, and a tram are among the 10 most prominent projects that will change the face of Fez by 2030.
The ten largest projects that will be completed in the city of Fez by the year 2030, huge and diverse strategic projects that include sports infrastructure, transportation, urban transportation, fourth-generation smart industry, and educational and tourism infrastructure.
These projects are represented by the high-speed railway line that will connect Fez to the capital, Rabat, the highway that will connect Fez to the tourist capital, Marrakesh, the tram lines, the Technopark of Fez, the construction of the Grand Theater of Fez, the Palace of Conferences in Fez, the expansion of the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez, and the establishment of a fourth-generation smart factory in Fez. Smart Factory, and developing a series of tourist routes in the Fez-Meknes region..
How does Morocco and Egypt’s tourist industries compare (and the overall tourist experience of visiting the country) and what can others in the region learn from the two countries?
It seems Egypt’s tourist industry has gone down hill over the last 15 years, not just at the sites, but the total visitors experience, while morris has still maintained a relatively pleasant experience.
Both obviously have their share of scammers trying to make a buck off tourist, as is the case in any heavily visited city, but perhaps the perception of instability in Egypt gives that vibe to tourists, while Morocco seems far away from trouble and an island of stability.
What lesson can Saudi learn from these two countries? What lesson can Pakistan learn from these two countries, especially if it look to promoted the Indus Valley Civilization in the coming years?
The following might be niche, but he is a YouTuber with 8 million subscribers, probably one of the best potential free promoters of the country and this is what he and his team go through. The bureaucracy seems Byzantine.
And then this guy’s experience gets amplified massively by going on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Good points, but the paranoia that tourists seem to experience in Egypt as reported by these different YouTubers seems to be crippling to the industry. It seems that the Moroccan tourism industry is doing pretty well even after that huge earthquake.. and it is due to pretty good marketing in the US and Europe..
Egyptian tourism was hit a little along with other vital economic sources of govt income due to the war in Gaza combined with the dollar value against the Egyptian pound reaching 60 to $1..now dropping to 50.. it was $1=17 a few years back!
As far as Saudi tourism goes.. there are some indicators of success.. but we can say it is still at its infancy..
Pakistan will need a lot of good marketing to attract more tourists to the Indus valley, as it is historical tourism like the Egyptian one.. plus creating more hotels and beaches for tourists around or near those areas targeted for tourists..
I've seen worst video in the past..might be personal experiences nothing more..Tourism is generally doing well.. only this war in GAZA is slowing it now..Good points, but the paranoia that tourists seem to experience in Egypt as reported by these different YouTubers seems to be crippling to the industry.
Before 2011, it seemed Egyptian tourism was steady, but since then the government seems extra paranoid.I've seen worst video in the past..might be personal experiences nothing more..Tourism is generally doing well.. only this war in GAZA is slowing it now..

Even then, Iran is paranoid, but has a system in place to clearly list what is banned and how to go about professional filming.
I ask, because if Pakistan is to built out its tourism industry it will also need to deal with paranoia in a systematic manner that doesn’t scare off tourists or hurt the industry with negative PR.
