I've already documented the instance of an Afghan who worked on my team many years ago. He earned a PhD in Civil Engineering in Moscow. He was sharp.

Absolutely. In the age of social media and heightened emotions, the actions of a single individual can lead to mislabeling and the targeting of entire immigrant communities.

Anti‑immigrant sentiments are building in pockets of Europe and North America, and I fear that, down the road, someone may act out and cause a major incident.

As per my experience of Australia, the Afghans are usually considered as Whites for local dating 🕳️
Its an on ground experience that Afghani are found more lucky than other Muslims to get a date with local Western woman 🙂

When the warning signs are there, some still don’t get the supportive services they need. We are so underfunded for mental health services across the country, especially for vets.

Perhaps, considering their unique situations, perhaps ex-ARVN vet organizations could have been given extra funding to help mentor these ex-ANA transition into life in the states. Heck both communities have large populations in the same state, California.

All I see is a Glock, a Glock conversion kit, some extended magazines, and a plate. All stuff I can buy from any LGS in my area.

I did read the article. It does reference a handgun with a "switch".
