ঢাকার দক্ষিণ কেরানীগঞ্জে একটি মাদ্রাসা ভবনে বিস্ফোরণের ঘটনায় নিষিদ্ধ জঙ্গি সংগঠন জেএমবি'র সদস্য আল-আমিন শেখ ওরফে রাজিবের জড়িত থাকার প্রমাণ মিলেছে বলে জানিয়েছেন ঢাকা জেলা পুলিশ সুপার মিজানুর রহমান।

শনিবার বিকেলে ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শন শেষে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে পুলিশ সুপার জানান, মাদ্রাসার আড়ালে বিস্ফোরক ও বোমা তৈরির কার্যক্রম চালানো হচ্ছিল। বিস্ফোরণের পর ঘটনাস্থল থেকে একাধিক বিস্ফোরক দ্রব্য, বোমা তৈরির সরঞ্জাম এবং সন্দেহজনক আলামত উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।


তিনি বলেন, প্রাথমিক তদন্তে আমরা নিশ্চিত হয়েছি, মাদ্রাসার পরিচালক আল-আমিন শেখ নিষিদ্ধ জঙ্গি সংগঠন জেএমবির সক্রিয় সদস্য। তিনি তামিম–সারোয়ার গ্রুপের সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত ছিলেন। ঘটনার পর থেকে আল-আমিন পলাতক রয়েছে এবং তাকে গ্রেপ্তারে অভিযান চলছে বলেও জানান পুলিশ সুপার।

সংবাদ সম্মেলনে আরও জানানো হয়, এ ঘটনায় আল-আমিনের স্ত্রী আছিয়া বেগম, তার বড়ভাইয়ের স্ত্রী ইয়াসমিন আক্তার ও আসমানী খাতুন নামে এক নারীসহ তিনজনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে মাদ্রাসার আড়ালে বোমা তৈরির কর্মকাণ্ডে তাদের সংশ্লিষ্টতার তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে। আটক ব্যক্তিদের বিরুদ্ধে সন্ত্রাসবিরোধী আইন ও বিস্ফোরক দ্রব্য আইনে মামলা দায়েরের প্রস্তুতি চলছে।


পুলিশ সুপার মিজানুর রহমান জানান, বিস্ফোরণের সময় আল-আমিনের স্ত্রী ও দুই সন্তান ভবনের ভেতরে অবস্থান করছিলেন এবং তারা আহত হয়েছেন। তাদের ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা দেওয়া হচ্ছে।

তিনি আরও বলেন, আল-আমিনের জঙ্গি সংশ্লিষ্টতার অতীত রেকর্ড রয়েছে। ২০১৭ সালে নারায়ণগঞ্জের ফতুল্লা থানার বক্তাবলী এলাকা থেকে র‌্যাব তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছিল। সে সময় তার কাছ থেকে আগ্নেয়াস্ত্র, গুলি, বিস্ফোরক দ্রব্য, জিহাদি বই ও লিফলেট উদ্ধার করা হয়।

পুলিশ সুপার বলেন, ঘটনাটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে তদন্ত করা হচ্ছে এবং মাদ্রাসার আড়ালে জঙ্গি কার্যক্রম চালানোর বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে। এ ঘটনায় জড়িত অন্যদের শনাক্ত করে আইনের আওতায় আনার প্রক্রিয়া চলমান রয়েছে।

ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের মুখপাত্র শহীদ শরিফ ওসমান বিন হাদি হত্যার পেছনে মূল যারা জড়িত আছে, তাদের প্রত্যেকের নাম-ঠিকানা উন্মোচন করে দেওয়া হবে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন ডিএমপি (ঢাকা মহানগর পুলিশ) কমিশনার শেখ মো. সাজ্জাত আলী। আগামী ১০ দিন, অর্থাৎ ৭ জানুয়ারির মধ্যে এ মামলার চার্জশিট দেওয়া হবে বলেও উল্লেখ করেন তিনি।

শনিবার (২৭ ডিসেম্বর) রাতে রাজধানীর শাহবাগে ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের অবস্থান কর্মসূচিতে গিয়ে এ কথা বলেন তিনি।

সাজ্জাত আলী বলেন, 'এটি একটি রহস্যজনক হত্যাকাণ্ড। এর পেছনে অনেকে জড়িত থাকার কথা। আমরা এ পর্যন্ত ১০ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছি। হত্যাকাণ্ডের পেছনে যারা জড়িত, তা উদঘাটনে জোর চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছি। হত্যাকাণ্ডের পেছনে মূলে যারা রয়েছেন, তাদের প্রত্যেকের নাম-ঠিকানা উন্মোচিত করে দেব।'


ডিএমপি কমিশনার আরও বলেন, 'হাদি হত্যাকাণ্ডের সঙ্গে কারা জড়িত, তা উদঘাটনের জন্য পুলিশ, ডিবি, র‌্যাবসহ সব গোয়েন্দা সংস্থাকে কাজে লাগানো হয়েছে। তদন্তে আমরা সন্তোষজনক অগ্রগতি পেয়েছি। তবে তদন্তের স্বার্থে সব তথ্য এখন প্রকাশ করা সম্ভব নয়। এতে প্রতিপক্ষ সতর্ক হয়ে যেতে পারে।'

তিনি বলেন, হাদিকে গুলির ঘটনায় যে দুটি পিস্তল ব্যবহার করা হয় সে দুটি পিস্তল উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। পিস্তল দুটি বৈজ্ঞানিক পরীক্ষার জন্য সিআইডিতে পাঠানো হয়েছে। যে মোটরসাইকেল ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, সেটি ডিবি পুলিশ উদ্ধার করেছে।

এ হত্যাকাণ্ডে অনেক টাকা ব্যয় করা হয়েছে উল্লেখ করে ডিএমপি কমিশনার বলেন, 'আমরা ২১৮ কোটি টাকার সই করা চেক উদ্ধার করেছি।'

এ সময় তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার; পরিবেশ, বন ও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন এবং পানি সম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের উপদেষ্টা সৈয়দা রিজওয়ানা হাসান ও ডিএমপির ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

হাদির হত্যার বিচার দাবিতে শনিবার দ্বিতীয় দিনের মতো শাহবাগে অবরোধ কর্মসূচি পালন করে ইনকিলাব মঞ্চ।

এর আগে শুক্রবার ইনকিলাব মঞ্চের নেতাকর্মীসহ সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থী ও জনতা বিক্ষোভ মিছিল নিয়ে শাহবাগ মোড়ে এসে অবস্থান নেন।
