So everyone noticed that few countries have invested heavily on massive command and control infrastructure for their militaries, mainly Egypt and Turkiye's example comes to mind.

Egyptian Octagon becomes the world's largest military HQ center.
Meanwhile Turkiye is also building its new HQ which is not completed yet.

I understand that both countries have spend billions of dollars into these massive infrastructures which include tunnels, reinforced bunkers and command and control centers, although one down side of such massive structures are that they become the prime targets of your enemy in times of conflict.

Now coming to the discussion that, should Pakistan also look into moving its GHQ from Rawalpindi to some other place ? And if so which Pakistan's city offer best location for such structures if Money is not a issue, now i know the moment people will read this money will become the major point of discussion, but to remind you guys here that this is a hypothetical scenario which we are talking about, in this case we are discussing only the best location for such combined command and control stucture if we were to ever build one. Here is breakdown of distance of GHQ to major Indian Air bases near Pakistan border.

Would love to see what other members think about which city can serve the best location vise, geopraphy wise for a hypthetical command and control center to protect it from drones/missile strikes in future conflict and wars, a C&C center which is not cramped with civilian population that pose a risk due to leaks in intelligence and movements of troops and weapon systems. A city that offers somewhat decent distance from both Afghanistan and Indian attacks, as drones ranges gets improve by every year, we have to that into consideration. My pick would be somewhere between Multan, Layyah and Dera Gazi Khan. Or maybe near Mianwali, Baluchistan can be a good place but given the situation there will not be the best place, but i would love to hear what other people think.

Please don't get into this back and forth about funds/money, as this is purely a hypthetical scenario.

Nope. Very vulnerable. Would all be for expensive show and would be a liability in a war.

We need to learn what modern warfare looks like from the Ukr-Russ conflict and the Iran-US conflict. Unless you build this sort of thing under a mountain, it is vulnerable to Indian attacks. Pointless and far better things to spend money on.

This thread is more about a possible location, i know such large structures will become vulnarable but we are just discussing a possible location for a new command and control center, as pindi become very populated.

Slightly OFF TOPIC but before we consider the above, from looking at the recent Iran vs america/israel conflict I think it is EXTREMELY IMPERATIVE that Pakistan builds deep reinforced underground military complexes to house and build Pakistan's strategic weapons, missiles, drones, fighter jets etc. This will ensure the survival and fighting capabilities of the Pakistan military NO MATTER who we fight and how much we get bombed. Ideally, these underground facilities and complexes should be built under mountains.

Best location would be under the mountains in Balochistan but we must first take out all the terrorists there.

don't waste money on infrastructure like PMLN. Instead, consider purchasing offensive weapons such as rocket artillery or a long-range FPV system.
Even if it is necessary, it should be like Iran's underground structure and decentralised command system.

Well i always thought Pakistani's very dumb, but now i am starting to believe even UK Pakistani's are stupid. Literally mention in the OP that its a hyothetical scenario where money is no issue, just discuss the possible location of such C&C center, and location can be geopraphically benefit such a Center.

Baluchistan is definitely best, give the mountains and valley's offer natural protection and chokepoints, but situation there is no fessible. But as this is a hypothetical scenario, which city or area in Baluchistan you think offer the best value? for such a large infrastructure, we need a flat land, which surrounded by mountains to set up radar and AD systems.
