Not just engines, Tejas Mk-1A delivery could be hit over key Danish part, now on export blacklist

I’m not sure how much life is left in the second-hand F-16s that many countries have purchased, as the Tejas MK1A being offered wasn’t operational then. In 10-15 years, when those F-16s retire, these countries will need a new 4th-generation fighter jet, and Tejas could be an option again. For example, Vietnam chose to buy second-hand F-16s from the U.S. instead of the Tejas MK1A.

Decades of socialism and lack of "risk" taking has killed engineering capabilities of India. Even out private companies are total trash. India shouldn't be wasting money on building things at the scale of planes. Good luck ever building a working engine.

Ah, sorry thought you were boasting about super dupa Tejas?

Total jets inducted into IAF in last 2 years? Wanna guess?
60 fighters inducted into IAF since 2020.
Total fighters inducted into PAF in this period just 22 JF-17 Blk 3 and 20 J-10C.

Blk-3 is 30 i think, few bravo is also in 2020 if i am not wrong, I am bad in timelines so ............ Anyway even this (your mentioned since 2020) PAF stats seems better as compared to overall numbers/size of PAF & IAF.

Sorry, what is your actual point? It would be insane for pakistan to have it's own fighter programme 100% home made, just like the Danish, Polish or Italians dont.

Stick to the subject of teh thread?
It's you who replied to me when I told DDG-80 that your involvement with thunder comes nowhere close to our involvement with Tejas..... you only came up with your achievements in numbers and orders.... that was never my point at all...
