This TV series didn't receive high praise from Chinese audiences, especially for its poor 3D animation.

But I didn't expect you to like it so much.

The series has a deep Chinese cultural background, which may be difficult for foreign audiences to understand.

Yes animation was not up to the mark especially if compared to the netflix one. I think I read somewhere that season 2 will have better animation hence production taking long for season 2 but i really don't have credible information hence asking Chinese ppl.

Why I like the series because i love the book as i mentioned in my opening post and Chinese version was ditto adaption of the novel. Chinese cultural background was depicted in first few episodes only as illustrated in the novel as well.

This problem may not be resolved in the second season.

The production companies behind the first season of the Chinese TV adaptation of *The Three-Body Problem* were quite capable. CCTV and Tencent are both top-tier teams in China. They don't lack technical expertise. The real issue lies on another level: the ownership of the *Three-Body Problem* IP, "Three-Body Universe." This is the core issue that makes it difficult to successfully commercialize the *Three-Body Problem* IP.

In contrast, the commercialization of Liu Cixin's *The Wandering Earth* IP has been extremely successful.

I haven't read the novel *The Three-Body Problem*, I've only watched the TV series.

You should first read entire triology to understand the TV series or atleast the first novel to understand the 'problem'.

haha actually we still don't know what infinite here means hence as per our limited knowledge we are considering it as infinite.

Infinite for all intents and purposes with regards to the scales involved in our math. Not the actual universe. Approx. 2 trillion galaxies, 10^24 to 100^100 stars, times that by about 1.6 planets, so on and so forth...that's just in the observable universe.

In my personnel opinion even Quran hints about alien life so we just have to wait and wait until we have the tech to identify a habitual planet.

Where?

Now explain me why you consider life doesn't exist else where?

I don't, as I mentioned in my previous post.

There is an ayat in Quran which states that:

Translation of Verse 29 of Surah Ash-Shura

And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and all living beings(Daabah) He dispersed throughout both. And He is Most Capable of bringing all together whenever He wills.

Also there are many Islamic scholars who are believes that there are atleast 7 Earth like worlds having their own Prophets dispatched like on our planets.

In my personnel view some sort of complex life (animal) exists on many worlds but intelligent life (human alike) might be very rare.

Anyway coming back to the actual theme of this novel/series is that intelligent lives exists and more common then we think but at the same time all such intelligent beings on different worlds should be considered as hostile and its best not to contact them and reveal your location to them. This is one possible explanation for fermi paradox that if there is intelligent alien life in other stars systems, they are not willing to reveal themselves.

I love 3-body problem- thats all i gotta say
Eagerly waiting for the next season
1- GOT
2-3 body problems
3- Better Call Saul (more of an American show than an international one imo)
Right up there imo
If you’re a fan of the series. Just read the translated books, they are much more wild and expansive than the narrative you’ve seen thus far.

The original work is excellent, but the TV series adapted from it is poorly filmed.

I didn't expect anyone to like it, especially the historical trauma and collective memory it records, the unique values and philosophy of survival, the narrative structure and aesthetics, as well as the persistence in the regularity of history, all of which are closely related to Chinese culture, and readers from other countries may not easily understand it.
