Btw Vikings should fire their GM for not franchise tagging Sam Darnold who had a 14-3 record as a Viking and 14-3 as seachickens who are playing in super bowl. I think he would have had a better win-loss record with Vikings than last year.

To answer the question on title... YES! He got fired for this reason and I even said he deserves to get fired for this. They also had Daniel Jones and before het hurt his name was brought up about MVP consideration with Colts. Vikings coach O'Connell comes from the Sean McVay staff and made Sam Darnold into what he is right now and could have also made Daniel Jones into a beast with Vikings.
