What exercise routine you follow as a guy over 50 ?
I have a chronic bad back so the only exercise recommended by the doctor is Walking 🚶‍♂️ daily. I walk 3-4 km or 6,000 steps which ever comes first. With this routine l don't have lower back pain and I lose around 300 K-cal daily. I also watch what I eat and drink. Cheers 🍻

In all seriousness, to answer safriz's question; after 50 and prior to retirement, my job had me traveling alot. Was able to get many steps in at airports while waiting for flights.

Since I spent a lot of time in the operation, that meant being out in the warehouses. 15-20K step-days was not uncommon. I kid you not, couple times I had 38K-steps. That's a LOT of miles.

Post-retirement, in addition to a complete weight set here at home, I am ALWAYS doing something. Be it yard work, walking, what have you. Step-count now averages 10-12K per day.

Like @Fatman17 , I watch what I eat. Travel was bad. Does not equate to a good diet in spite of the walking. Now, lots of chicken and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Coffee is still my chief vice and at most I'll have 3-4 beers per month. Nothing like lunch with friends enjoying a good burger or tacos. An ice cold beer tops it off.

You've got to be kidding me. Look what I found! Third vehicle I ever owned. And in this EXACT color!!!!!!

For those who don't know, the time difference between KHI and where I am located is 12 hours. Makes some things convenient.

During the work years, I often met with the teams in Malaysia. The time difference is 15 hours. It worked great. Late afternoon meetings for us would be 1800 for me, 0900 for them. And, being the good team they were and knowing I often started my day by 0530, they would meet with me at 2100 their time.

I really didn't like to do that too often. Not really fair to them. I had no issues with the 1800/0900 arrangement.

Now, the people in PRG; forget about it. At 1700 they were stampeding out the door for the nearby pubs. During the summer months, the time difference is 9 hours. So if I wanted an answer to something that day, if I didn't call or email them by 0730 latest my time, it would be the next morning before a response was received.
