Hard to say. If there is one thing about the Rooney family, it is that they are FIERCELY loyal to their coaches.
I will be 67 in March. In all those years, Pittsburgh has had only 3 coaches. Chuck Knowle, Bill Cowher, and Mike Tomlin.
But, I have to seriously question what's going on. After the Russell Wilson debacle last year, thinking it would improve under Rodgers? Seriously?
Now, the Steelers are 6-6 and instead of being playoff bound, they are in the hunt for a wildcard slot.

There was a story of a player from Philly that came to one of the training sessions at Allen Park and was surprised at how hard the Lions players were working that not even they train that hard at Philly like Detroit does. He said that Detroit’s training sessions are incredibly brutal in comparison to what they do in Philly.

Steelers organization have had only 2 franchise QB's in Bradshaw and Roethlisberger the rest have been game managers QBs pass their prime or QB's just good enough to not lose you the game as Steelers have always been known for their defense and running game.
