I knew this cht was going to happen. They were 10 games over .500 half game from first and they are now collapsing like they do every year. Not fixing their lack of starting pitching this off season is starting to bite them in the ass knowing their offense was going to suck like it did last year and the year before. Last ten games they are 2-8 which is bad and under .500 last 20 games. Bring on the NFL season because it's going to be the same cht they will just barely make it in the playoffs but do absolutely nothing be one and done and because the team is in the middle of a sale there will be no player/salary added to help the offense or pitching.

I shouldn't be irritated it's not like I've invested time on them. I haven't watched a single game this season because I knew this cht would happen not even when they had best record in MLB I knew it was fake and knew with current roster they wouldn't be able to hold up for the long haul. The offseason should have been thee warning sign how bad it was going to be when no free agent of need was signed but stupid go-happy Padre fans will still spend their money on this team giving the front office the ok to be mediocre.

Hard fought game. Canes struck first with 2 goals but Vegas battled back to tie and take the lead. Canes tied it up a couple minutes before end of regulation. They came back to win it in OT. Oh well.
At least Vegas split the pair with Carolina. There was no way they could go back to Vegas in the hole. The advantage will be with them on home ice Saturday and Monday.
