Finally got the chance to introduce myself to the new overnight cop in Nowata, Oklahoma.

Officer Keenan came in to the truck stop two weeks ago and told me they hired a new overnight cop.

"You going to tell him about me?"

LOL!

Police chief pulled an all nighter training his new rookie last night, stopping in a second time, because the first time I didn't have time, to tell the rookie I walk cats after dark.

Police chief: "Yes, and the cats follow him!"

May have to be on the trip back then as your schedule better aligns with the return trip. Focus on the trip to Perry is getting there. And this time, I'm thinking of going via I-40 with a stop in Ft. Smith just for old time's sake.

The summer rains are getting closer according to the weather babes. Humidity levels are definitely up.

We got a spattering of rain sometime last night. Just enough to turn the dust on the vehicles to mud.
