May have to be on the trip back then as your schedule better aligns with the return trip. Focus on the trip to Perry is getting there. And this time, I'm thinking of going via I-40 with a stop in Ft. Smith just for old time's sake.

Pretty sure I driven every route from there to here.

Or visit the capital of Cherokee Nations? I enjoyed that route because the cattle fields were very well kept.

Look into going north and visit a charming college town, Fayetteville.

Springdale, Siloam Springs, Grove. If you don't get lost at the crossroads near Vinita, you'll find your way.

Allow time on the highway to Grove, scenic. A road side park.
