I can remember waiting in the terminal for my uncle's plane to take off in the early 1970s and the pilot walking by, stopped, and asked me if I would like to see the cockpit.

Pilot gave me a quick tour and gave me this pin to take home with me.

I don't give a cht about wild cards I/we've seen the same stupid script for years now.... suck pretty much during regula season but good enough to barely make the wild card and don't advance. They are not good enough to make a run in the playoffs just good enough to appear in the playoffs and it's only going to get worse unless this new owner spends a lot of money on players.

Loser Padres aren't buying or selling, which is ridiculous on the not selling part, and Doyers do this every year outbid everyone to make sure they buy another World Series Championship. They better savor this season because on December 1st CBA expires and owners are pushing for a salary cap and floor for 2027 season which players wn't agree which means players strike. Hopefully MLB becomes like the NFL where literally any team can reach the Super Bowl.

Whoopty doo the season is saved Padres playoff run here they come!!!

Now all they need is two more starting pitchers and 2-3 bats that can actually hit and get on base, and maybe.... just maybe they can actually win a playoff series.
