Old Man's Corners

Are you 60 or older?

I was bored and I saw a mention of Cleveland’s it brought back some nostalgia 45 in December

A little happiness in Karachi at the moment.

I'm distributing sweets

I'm hoping for Rays to win it all every time I hear or think of Cleveland I get nauseous. Mistake by the lake.

Erie would be the mistake by the lake.

Fall is here. Was 36F when we got up!

Out running errands earlier. Hardly a cloud in the sky. Looked to the NE at the San Francisco Peaks. The City of Flagstaff sits at the base. The peaks got a HEAVY dose of snow.

Many years ago, I think it was 1999, I drove through the high country of the Southwest heading to east--all the way to South Carolina--along I-40. IIRC, I stopped overnight in Gallup. The higher elevations in the southwest are the only places I could ever live if I were to live in that region.

People seem to think AZ is nothing but sand, cactus, and rattlesnakes.

Until they see the Grand Canyon in a blanket of snow.

People seem to think AZ is nothing but sand, cactus, and rattlesnakes.

And Indians too.

The Brew Crew hit back to back home runs in the seventh inning, up 4-2.

Anyone remember the 1982 Harvey Wallbangers?

Named after manager Harvey Kuenn, who took over the team in June 1982, and a play on the cocktail name "Harvey Wallbanger". Kuenn famously told his players: "Look, you guys can flat-out hit. So just go out there and have some fun."

A great game. MKE never gave up when the Dodgers had the lead for a short time.

The irony here?

Brewers were swept in 4 last year by the Dodgers.
