Old Man's Corners

I will still root for the Rays even though their fans are the worst in all of MLB. Nothing but bandwagon superficial fair-weather fans getting rewarded with their 3rd WS in 28 years of existence not to mention 10 playoff appearance in between! Rays have the same amount of playoff appearance as the padres.... oh nvm.

Brewers for me.

Thinking of bailing out of Oklahoma and searching online to see who may be still around in Detroit. Good to see my friend Sonny get some recognition.

He's blind. Terrified of flying. Hands down, top shelf drummer.

Sonny was the long time house drummer for a famous jazz club in Detroit.

St. Patrick Senior Center member, Sonny Kendrick, who has played drums for Etta James and John Lee Hooker, poses for a photo in his Detroit apartment, where he still practices daily. June 16, 2016.

See the two 45s on Sonny's wall?

One has Etta James and Sonny Kendrick credited as the song writers. Bottom one.
