Couple times in South Carolina I may have casually mentioned being from north of the Mason-Dixon or that we won.

I like to mention to Southerns the first regiment to kick the Confederate ass was the Michigan regiment, filled with poor Whites in Detroit, who were kidnapped off the streets of Detroit by federal troops and forced to fight for the Union.

Back to who drinks coffee? Reason I ask is after seeing this on a couple of shows, I've been using ice water for making coffee. I know, sounds weird, right? Using ice water that is going to be heated to brew hot coffee.

On the cooking shows, the episodes were devoted to coffee and how people prepare it. Most of the brewers were using ice water. It holds more oxygen than tap or warm water. And sure enough, my morning coffee is definitely richer and more mellow than when I was using tap water.
