Sir, the problem is one of mentality.

These curious folk who are themselves not yet evolved beyond their historical roles as satraps and courtesans of some of the region's genuinely great powers now seem to have deluded themselves into believing in some sort of civilisational superiority over our own people. This is not dissimilar to the historical inferiority complex (falsely manifesting as a sense of superiority) displayed by our eastern neighbours.

There is no theoretical reason that Pakistan and Afghanistan could not work in unison to enhance both nations' regional performances, but for the mentality of the ethnofascists sitting in Kabul since before our nation's independence was even declared.

Zahir Shah, Daoud Khan, the communists, the talibs all fundamentally believed in their superiority over Pakistan and that the Durand Line was not applicable to them (admittedly a belief held to different degrees of zeal, with its modern iteration being most virulent).

The Muslim League, through the efforts of Jinnah and others, worked tirelessly through diplomatic skill, intellectual prowess, and rational evidence based discourse, to delineate this nation we call Pakistan. While that delineation was offset somewhat by the malevolence of Mountbatten, Gandhi, Nehru and Golwalkar, the process was largely successful and fully enshrined in due legal process and statute. In short, the receipts are all there to support Islamabad's position, and they always have been, regarding the Durand Line. No harm has befallen the Pashtun people as a consequence of Pakistani nationhood - contrarily, they excel and are entirely proud to be part of the citadel that Jinnah created and they openly reject ethnofascist influence from Kabul.

My opinion is that once security is assured through a buffer zone mechanism and absolute compliance from Kabul and voluntary purging of Delhi/Tel Aviv operatives within Afghanistan, then peace is possible between our nations....which brings us back to the issue of mentality. Until the mentality of ethnofascism is crushed and banished to history's dustbin, none of the above is possible.

I have very little optimism on this matter unfortunately.

Hazarewal is a regional identity, not an ethnicity.

Ayub Khan was an ethnic Pashtun with roots in Pishin.

Yahya Khan was a Qizilbash from a long-settled Peshawar family. The fact that his father happened to be posted in Punjab at the time of his birth does not magically convert him into a Punjabi. And KP was a part of Punjab before 1901 anyways..

Mentality is the issue, they have an entirely anti modern software, like from a thousand years ago

And by this I do not to insult afghans in the way westerners speak of Muslims.


But it just seems like they hate even basic commerce and capitalism, they are not just socially conservative but they are just antisocial period.

Anything which challenges their own systems of governments and law as well as attitudes to women, even mildly, they cannot compute or absorb, a lack of intelligence to be uncapable of interacting with the world
