What kind of helmets are these with 3 different color lights on top? Though they look hi-tech but won't it be easy for enemy to spot them easily in the dark while landing?

Or even just components ordered in bulk from different Chinese vendors.
id be surprised if that was the case.

looking at some of the wrecks, and im sure jamd will agree, theyre not very crude. actually, 1772248942054.png

looking at that wing or whatever, looks to be some sort of composite etc.

i think they're probably just ordering these from some chinese supplier, and assembling them. As i said, the chinese dont really give a toss. There was an Indian company the other day parading and selling Chinese equip to the Indian Army.

its for the sake of the exercise so that they can see eachother, anti collision lights.

I would have preferred a situation where we didn't have to do this to Afghanistan and resolve our issues peacefully through dialogue but even I have to admit. It was not going well.

However, just bombing Taliban will do nothing. These guys have faced far worse during the 18 years of USA+NATO and other allies flying over their heads 24/7.

If this path has been taken then there needs to be a creation of a buffer zone or at least a no go zone inside Afghanistan proper where anything that moves gets lit up before it approaches the border. This will reduce crossings of fighters and smugglers.

We are not a rich country and we cannot have F-16s or Akinci dropping costly munitions day and night. This would have to be achieved with low cost and low tech solutions like quadcopters, surveillance, more fencing.

These seem like kits like mugin that can be bought off alibaba for cheap. They are very modular and can take all kinds of engines so you could theoretically get the engines and airframes separately. Smuggling these into Afghanistan will be no issue for the Talibs. I doubt Afghanistan has FedEx lol.

a couple more launches and we should be able to ID them. Will be interesting.

The approach Pakistan army has taken towards Afghanistan is but one example.
great now he saying we treat afghnistan like that because army is punjabi , literally taliban talking points here ladies and gentlemen

i would argue we were and still are too lenient on afghnistan

Exactly.

No one in Pakistan during the time did any sort of risk assessment...

...actually, that's not completely true. Correct me if im wrong, but after the Afghan-sovoet war, the generals commissioned a study on the militants and ideology they helped support. The study recommended dismantling the groups while they still had the chance, and start erasing the extremist literature while they still had control.

The generals didnt listen, and instead tried to use them as puppets to continue to have a say in Afghanistan's internal matters (which, to be fair was justified), and to use them in occupied Kashmir against India.
The biggest problem is the idea that you can mix in ignorance, weapons and religion - and hope to achieve control.

Religion mixed with ignorance are simply not controllable.
You cannot let anyone with an IQ of less than 125 be a religious leader and/also no one with less than accredited university education preach religion.

Keep the pressure on. They are begging for ceasefire because they need time for reinforcement. Pakistan must not stop. I say fire Shaheen 1 on Kabul. Airstrikes are good but always consider nuclear strikes. This mullah leader of Taliban, we should bury him asap. I saw PTI tweet. What do you expect from kpk? They consider afghans as their brothers. Time to remove kpk government. Use tanks and artillery on PTi offices. Full holy mood. Violence is the way forward. Talibans and their sympathisers deserves harsh punishment.
What will that achieve other than creating more hatred for Pakistan?:-" I say fire Shaheen 1 on Kabul."

I am sure these are Indian made , not Afghan made.

Oh it matters a great deal which ethnicity is in command of the army in Pakistan, a country that has been ruled by the army since the 1950s. The approach Pakistan army has taken towards Afghanistan is but one example.

We are only in day 2. This will take weeks. There are many more humiliations to come for the taliban.

I am glad we don't have to listen to your history lessons after every bomb blast and I told you so's, makes a pleasant change. :ROFLMAO:

2nd one of course. And with all due respect to anyone that follows PTI, I hope, I just really really hope that these repeated assaults finally convince a section of our society that throwing out Afghans is an issue that is above any politics.

One can only hope coz I do not know how long we can keep placing the illegal Afghans above our own country and keep our soldiers, policemen, men, women and children being killed by their internal agents.
Unfortunately - cultism has no cure.
Especially when you have convinced a section of society that they are "Afghan".
