I concur. They would be relatively easier to manage. The chances of them behavibg like TTA is low. worst scenario is that they tilt towards Tajiskistan which is hopefully, less of an evil than TTA.
secondly, one needs to realise the terrain.. The area is rugged .. at places, afghans have the height advantage as well, is extremely difficult to patrol and manage.
on the contrary, the northern edge of the wahan corridor is a river and way too easier to manage and control due to natural geographic features than the man made durand line.
Theoretically speaking, Wakhan corridor may not really have much sympathies or support for the Taliban given its a minority group that lives there. Granted that Pakistan can assure them of good treatment and they agree, it may not be difficult to manage - except for infiltration attempts which are harder without local facilitation.
