Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

Do they have the discipline required to be an effective conventional force? They barely can control their own men.

Individually they are good but at the end of the day they are guerilla militants who got a jackpot in form of American weaponry.
Pakistan should not allow them to ever build up a conventional military. Simply airstrike their infrastructure in such a scenario of building up like we are doing right now.

Afghanistan being militarily neutered + buffer zone ensures we don't face a two front war.

Thats why I am a fan of Saudis.
They always help.
Unlike iran who is BFF with the biggest allies of Israel in the region India.
They are not allies of India ! India is the biggest customer of their oil and gas. Pakistan only gets the smuggled Iranian oil in the Balochistan province. Pakistan does not buy any oil or gas from Iran, although we have a border with Iran.

I'm worried greatly about the depletion of munitions and this hot border in the event of an Indian assault. The last time round blunders were made and at time Pakistan found itself being on the backfoot and this was without any costly war being fought in the West.
I think it's better to bring things to a settlement and secure the borders massively.
There's also nothing stopping the Taliban from urging their partners in Delhi to begin something. I'm actually surprised they have not, maybe due to negative PR in doing so?
This is what the hybrid regime will never accept. Duffer economics might enable us to lunge from one crisis to another but at some point, poverty will destroy Pakistan. People will kill each other for resources and we will cease to be a nation.

We don't have the economic strength to maintain a low intensity conflict against a rag tag militia without potentially jeopardising our stocks for the eastern front, or running out of money.

As a nation we've faced this threat for 70+ years yet to this day we've failed to address it adequately.

Yay , we should let dozens of men die weekly because we don’t want to use few glide bombs (not sure might just be dumb ones )

Remember we have only bombed 60is locations till now , if u think bombing just 60 locations depletes our stocks of munition then I can’t say anything to .

Yup, not ally. Thats why they handed over Chah bahar to india and Indian navy ?
And Kilbhoshan Yadev was allowed to run an entire terrorism campaign in Balochistan from Iran ?

Yeah its definitely a binary choice. Buulding a robust economy was clearly never a viable choice. Surely everyone who points out thier failures is supporting the terrorist.

Watch how this plays out, within a few weeks all the bravado will go tuss yet again like it did a few months ago. GHQ know the bed they made, they know we'll have to sleep in it.

Then after a few months rest, the terrorists will be attacking our soldiers again in full flow and they'll be forced to act again. Rinse and repeat.

Its the same fundamental flaws that have always stopped us pressing an advantage. In the last conflict we had IAF grounded. A country like Israel would have taken advantage of that to make generational changes to the borders and destroy its enemy. We agreed a ceasefire because we were afraid of how long we could afford to fund a war. Bajwa himself talked about the lack of fuel for tanks years ago.

This campaign we're seeing today - should never have been stopped months ago.

You can beat your chest and listen to ispr funded songs on YouTube all you like, but the high likelihood is that a lack of finance will eventually lead us to finding an off ramp here too.

I wish i was wrong. Nothing could please me more. Id be the happiest man in the world if i was wrong about this - but unfortunately i probably wont be.

And It's not even like other troops or equipment are being shifted to Western border, it's essentially the FC and a few army unit's doing the fighting with the equipment they already had, According to dumbasses a platoon of soldiers advancing 500 meters to a Taliban post is costing us a gazillion dollars.

But I remember this also happened in Zia era. Although not at this scale, but even then at least border areas of Afghanistan were bombed regularly by PAF .
I still remember A-5 Fantans going that way. They looked like a flying shoe due to a large fuel tank at the bottom.
Zia was a tiger. He also had a special sniper squad deployed in Balochistan, to look after the "ناراض بلوچ"

A country like Israel would have taken advantage
what do u think we are doing , we are realising how much superior we are and are finally taking the fight to he enemy and not just taking hits

😭 😭 😭

The Indians were building a port for them and got few berths to trade with Afghanistan and Central Asia. Iran built gas pipeline to the Pakistani border, but Pakistan has not completed its side of the pipeline.

Arabs can say the same about USA , NATO ?
They buy our oil? So we allowed them bases ?
Same as iran allowed Indian navy at Chah Bahar , because india invested?

It's interesting that following the BLA attacks on police station in BLN, PAF struck the taliban police headquarters in Kandahar. I believe that we are reciprocating the terrorist attack in same way they attack us. This must be the way forward.

Pakistan is doing very well. There is one area where the performance in my view has not been good. The KICKING OUT OF AFGHANS FROM PAKISTAN IS A CRITICAL ISSUE BUT IT NOT GETTING ENOUGH PACE! THESE PEOPLE ARE A HUGE SECURITY RISK TO THE WHOLE COUNTRY.

Man the police in these areas are absolutely useless
