Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

If they want to remain hostile then Pakistan just just start taking chunks out of their territory or regime change if they want to manufacture an ally.

I don't think they will come to their senses unless Kabul is carpet bombed.
Regime change is pointless because under the Taliban you at least have an unrecognised govt to strike at any time.

Just humiliate the regime where even its own domestic support base cant respect it, kill a few major leaders that will obviously be replaced. Do ground incursions and destroy a few villages that house TTP operatives/bases. Etc.

Let Northerners have de facto self control of the North but don't give them the government. Weak unrecognised Taliban is better.

That's injustice against the North, many of whom are now looking to Pakistan for help. Why should their daughters be oppressed? Or the people forced to follow the Taliban interpretation of Islam! Not to mention many of the leadership are disgusting bigots who hate the other ethnic groups.
Taliban light, Taliban heavy, Taliban mixed will always be a threat to Pakistan now. The voice of the reasonable faction is now drowned out with a chorus of revenge against Pakistan a thousand times over.
You sit on their land and that is fact in their heads which they refuse to move on, not even 1 cm.

Problem here is that Afghan Taliban know nothing of how to run a country, institutions or foreign diplomacy, and they are so full of themselves and their racial superiority which won't let them make peace with Pakistan, and then on top of it all there is issue of India which will keep funding TTP/BLA via Afghanistan and Taliban (Local commanders) will get rich for providing shelter and weapons and other support to TTP/BLA for their attacks on Pakistan. Look at the Jolani of Syria, his entire look/Personality is now change, he is visiting America, meeting POTUS, EU leaders and trying to make diplomatic gains for his war shattered country/economy, Taliban knows none of that. They are still living in that cavemen era, beating and treating women like Animals, there won't be any progress in Afghanistan just some investments and some trade to keep the country alive and imploding, but for Pakistan we are basically locked in a low/high intensity war with them, and I think we should do all that talks topi drama, keep killing TTP/BLA and their supporters in Pakistan but after any attack that has links from Afghanistan we should do few air strikes deep inside Afghanistan, eventually AT will be weak enough for NRF to mount a sizeable insurgency within Afghanistan.

This unhindered trade and access to the sea benefits China too. At some point if Pakistan fails to make payments for CPEC loans they might offer to take over management of the port, airport, tolls on highways etc as a way to pack back the money. It's in their interests to have the trade route they built be kept busy.

can you expect them to achieve ceasefire anywhere else when they do not even know how to talk to Talibans????

You cant expect any intellect from corroupt civ and back door deceiver promotions....

Yeah but that's why I said let them have defacto control of the Northern regions where they live so they aren't oppressed by the Taliban.

We can't change the regime for the rest because unfortunately the Taliban mindset is what is actually popular amongst their ethno-tribal extremist beliefs.

They will be free in the North unofficially, while we strike any terror infrastructure built by the others under Taliban since they wont let go of hostilities against Pakistan anytime soon at least until they are beaten quite extremely and humiliated.

Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to avoid any escalation in their armed conflict, during talks hosted by China in recent days, Beijing said on Wednesday.

“Representatives from China, Afghanistan and Pakistan held a week of informal meetings in Urumqi, Xinjiang, from April 1 to 7,” Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said.

Sick of this crap. Build a WALL and mine the border. People can go on foot via Torkham with families to visit relatives and medical goods can flow and that's it.

Zero non-medical trade with these people please.

Where was this humility and mealy mouthed crying about "trade saar" when hitherto they were tearing up Pakistani flags, murdering our civilians, and threatening to occupy our land? What "trade" can ever be based on this bizarre ritualistic addiction to ethnofascism?

Interesting images, no direct handshakes, two Chinese guys separately shaking hands with Pakistani representative and TTA guy in one frame.

After seeing these pictures, I believe the talks were very fruitful. :)

After what has transpired globally, the two losers of this region vishwa guru and its chaila (pupil / lackey) .. victims of their hatred for Pakistan.

These fitna tul ardh including Netanyahu deserve a place together in hell.

Oh ok I understand you now. Fully agree.

It's not helpful to lump BLA and TTP together.

TTP is an unintended consequence of the war on terror. They have had many grievances over the years starting with the US drone attack in former FATA to US bases in Pakistan, and everything in between. But the world has completely changed.

The war on terror is kind of over.

There are no US drone strikes in former FATA.

The Americans have left Afghanistan.

And there are no US bases in Pakistan.

TTP at this point are rebels without a cause or, as Kayani put it, guns for hire who are turning to crime and terrorism to earn their keep. TTP factions may still harbour enmities, bloodfueds and whatnot, but their raison d'etre is long gone.

@Starlord

Afghan Taliban know nothing of how to run a country,

They do know how to run a country. But as per their own principles and values, not ours.

What was discussed? "Hey, masters in israel have new assignment for us, can we target iranians on Pakistani soil?" .. the kind of sellouts and retards these are, no doubt this is very much expected of them.

What is our intelligence inaction problem? How was the meeting allowed to take place ?
Bomb the BLA and remove pieces from the board

That's a misreading of the situation. TTP has evolved since then and its motives, today it stands 80% as an Afghan proxy made up of Waziristanis. Ideology built on Pashtun tribal ethnonationalism and expansionism based on the usual Afghan Durrand line weeping. They even released podcasts talking about this, it's no longer the organisatiom from the 2010s where pan-jihadism was popular.

It's the Islamic version of BLA and used strategically by TTA.
