In a joint operation, the Intelligence Bureau and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Islamabad apprehended four terrorists with Afghan links, involved in the suicide attack at the Judicial Complex in G-11, Islamabad.
The arrests come after the suicide blast outside the District Judicial Complex in G-11 that killed 12 people, including lawyer Zubair Aslam Ghuman, and injured over 36 others.
The attacker detonated explosives near a police vehicle after failing to enter the court premises, damaging several vehicles and sending shockwaves across the federal capital.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday paid a visit to the Cadet College in Wana, where an attack was thwarted earlier this week, saying that elements from “across the border” were responsible for terrorist incidents.
In remarks which were televised, Naqvi told tribal elders gathered at the college during his visit that several officials from Pakistan — including himself, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Defence Minister Asif Khawaja — had spoken to Afghanistan about the issue of terrorism.
“We repeatedly told them one thing: terrorism should be stopped. Do not destroy the peace in our country,” he said.
The minister further said that Pakistan’s economic indicators and its relations with other countries were headed in the right direction. However, elements from “across the border” came to the country to carry out attacks, he said.

76 Afghans detained in citywide Rawalpindi raids after Islamabad blast
The crackdown comes amid tighter enforcement of the National Action Plan

Rawalpindi police have arrested 76 Afghan nationals living illegally in the city during extensive search operations launched after the recent suicide attack outside the judicial complex in Islamabad. The crackdown comes amid tighter enforcement of the National Action Plan.
According to police, the operations were carried out on the instructions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani across multiple neighbourhoods in Rawalpindi.
During the searches, police inspected 1,375 houses, 412 shops and 28 hotels, and verified the identification documents of more than 1,709 individuals. The detainees included Afghan nationals found residing in Pakistan without legal documentation.
Police teams also checked four scrap yards, three bus and truck stands, and several locations to verify tenant records. Authorities registered 21 cases against individuals who failed to file mandatory tenant information.

Mir Saeed Khan Khalid, who is the son of Afghan Taliban commander Mohammad Ajan and brother of Khost administrative chief Syed Marjan, has been killed in Bajaur.He was a resident of the Domanda area of Musa Khel in Khost.
Despite the presence of family members of Taliban commanders in the ranks of the TTP, the Taliban government still maintains the position that the TTP is Pakistan's internal issue.
