They didn’t “turn into Indian assets.” They simply reverted to their original strategic doctrine the moment they consolidated power. Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignoring decades of history. The objective has always been influence over KP and Balochistan. What we’re seeing now is not random instability, it’s a coordinated proxy campaign backed with arms, logistics, training, and safe havens. The spike in our casualties is directly linked to militants gaining access to more advanced weapons and better operational support.​


This is an ethno-nationalist war wrapped in religious packaging. The slogans are Islamic, but the goal is territorial leverage and strategic depth. They know exactly what they’re doing. The tragedy is that sections of our population still fall for the religious framing and hesitate whenever firm action is taken, as if acknowledging the reality somehow undermines faith.

Internally, political miscalculations have compounded the problem. Calling for unconditional peace talks while the other side is regrouping and rearming is not strategy, it’s negligence. You cannot negotiate from a position of retreat while territory and influence are slowly being eroded. Dialogue without leverage only buys time for the other side to rebuild.

The destabilization of KP did not happen in a vacuum. Security pickets and checkpoints in former FATA were rolled back prematurely. Army units were pulled back, FC was confined to forts, and civilian policing capacity was nowhere near ready to fill the gap. Then in 2021, TTP elements were allowed space to resettle, giving them the opportunity to reconstruct networks and infrastructure. Predictably, we are back to square one.

The government of Pakistan needs to come out of its self-imposed hold and start extracting harsh price from the terrorists illegally occupying Kabul and Qandahar. These terrorists should be either sent to the graves or forced to flee into the caves. In both cases people of Afghanistan will be liberated from the clutches of this jahil terrorist regime.

It's not that Pakistan is alone. It can turn the tables and crush the snake head with the help of its ally states. Earlier the better.
