Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

This is never going to end. For over 25 years the western border has become extremely violent. I cannot see peace for the future in KPK and Balochestan. I'm afraid Pakistan is stuck in an endless war. The Taliban are a loose guerilla fighting force backed by countless fighters that will become suicide bombers. A flimsy steal fence will not stop people seeking retribution and certainly India will fully back and support any terrorist group in AFG against Pakistan.
Lastly it is of immense shame this is occurring during Ramadan. Innocent Muslims being killed by muslims whichever side of the border!

What a twist of fate. A few years ago we went against the whole world to rear these bastards. Mike Mullen called this snake Haqqani's group a veritable arm of the ISI. There was daily hue and cry of Quetta shura, Karachi Shura and what not. All for this day.

Heaven has not seen a more ungrateful people.
Most of all, I never thought I'd actually end up appreciating 2001 US Invasion of Afghanistan, after 25 years. Now I can finally relate to the feelings of the US, when it comes to Afghanistan.

Bombing without substantial territory gain is useless. You F around, you lose the territory and that in itself is slap on their honour, which should hopefully act as detterence for future. Must occupy substantial territory with threat to gobble up more if Afghanistan keep on harbouring terrorists.

Afghanistan finally feeling normal again.

Anyway....action should have been taken well before Ramadan. But I trust the planners to know what we don't know.

Wouldn't that be suicidal in quite an already harsh terrain + past experiences?

This a golden opportunity for Pakistan to seize Wakhan corridor, however it's such a shame it had to happen in Ramadan, timing of Afghanistans retaliation is very suspect especially when Modi is in Israel and one of Taliban minister apparently didn't have a problem with Israel.

In this climate, a plane flying out of Afghanistan would have been noticed.

I doubt this is true.

Like in the olden days, the best way to minimize the bloodshed in a battle is to go for the enemy's head honcho. So in this case unless these initial strikes are followed by Dahia Beirut level decapitation strikes on the Talibastards leadership, it would have been better to not start this at all.

Mixed packages delivering plain old Mk84s and alot of those. No need to waste JDAMs, LGBs on these enemies of God Almighty.
