The one thing Afghans forget is that Pakistan is not USA.
The Americans were always gona leave , and they know whatever happens, they will be too far from Afghanistan for the Afghans to be any threat.
For Pakistan it is a far more serious matter as Pakistan is permanently here, and will do whatever is possible to defend against Afghani threat, and as many times as it takes.
