In the bigger picture, Mr Narendra Modi is having the best week. He visited Israel and signed agreements to receive advanced missiles which will be part of the next Indian attack. Meanwhile Pakistan has plunged into yet another Afghan conflict, which ensures no peace or investments in Pakistan. India's outreach to the Taliban has paid off big time.

No a single KPK based political party has outrightly supported the strikes. That includes JUI/JI/ANP. The support has come from PML-N (Punjab), PPP (Sindh) and MQM (Karachi)

The response in KPK varies from calling for peace to some nationalists suporting Afghanistan.

PTI is the only national party with support within the KPK youth.

PMLN/PPP/ISPR hold zero traction there.

Afghanistan and India would want to frame it as an Afghan/Punjabi issue. The fau--jeeti and Patwari push to frame PTI as anti-national is going to hurt the federation in the coming years.
JUI/JI are Islamist parties, so you understand that they might have sympathies with their khwarji siblings across the border; although I believe even they have stated that the Taliban rule currently is un-Islamic. ANP are Pashtun nationalists, so you can understand why.

JUI/JI/ANP are all junior parties anyways. But the PTI is a national level party, like the PPP and PML-N are; but for some reason, want to play ethnic politics; and never support the national stance against Afghan threats.

Pakistan had no choice.
Afghan kept on attacking and harbouring terrorists. What choice Pakistan had?

Fighting along Angoor Adda border stops as armed forces capture Afghan checkposts after overnight exchange of fire

Pakistan’s security forces carried out a robust retaliatory response following unprovoked aggression by Afghan Taliban in the border areas of South Waziristan Lower, security sources said on Friday.

According to officials, an intense exchange of fire continued throughout the night along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. However, the situation has since calmed after the firing subsided by morning.

Security sources stated that the Pakistan Army responded swiftly and in a coordinated manner by targeting multiple Afghan Taliban checkposts located across the border in Afghanistan’s Paktia province.

At one time biggest threat was Russian invasion, remember their desire for warm water port? So no choice but to support the Afghans. Now the threat is suicide bombers from Afghanistan so what would you do? Why don’t you analyse ‘situation objectively? To date India has provided zero credible proof to justify Operation Sindoor ( separate matter that they got their butt kicked in) which I believe you supported wholeheartedly? So why in so much pain now? Double standards anyone?
What if it was just propaganda used to justify joining the war? There was no practical way for them to gain access to warm-water ports, and they didn’t actually need them.

Russia historically wanted warm-water access in general, but reaching Pakistan was not a practical option. They had alternate options

For all those yapping about PTI, this is JUIs response. These two political parties represent 90% of the populance there. The rest is PTM/ANP/Achakzai.

That pretty much sums up the collective mood in KPK.

To have PML-N(Punjabi Nationalist Party) lead the narrative for this war with their p!ss poor tandoor wala jabs is not going to get you a united front.
