To me it seems that US/Isreal vs Iran and Pakistan vs Afghanistan are related in somehow.
Pakistani Government and establishment tried hard through buttering and requests to Trump not to attack Irani regime but this time US was serious in removing Iranian regime.
So, there are the chances that there will be a pro-Israel and pro India regime if the current regime falls and, in such scenario, Pakistan may face 3 fronts.
So, current Pak-Afghan conflict seems a preemptive measure by Pakistan to lessen a front in worst times.
