This time, they are not letting them flee. Thats a relief
agood taliban is a dead taliban

There is no way Gen Tariq Khan would advise something as dumb as this. He and Raheel Sharif were the few professionals who actually did their jobs and reduced terrorism across Pakistan in their tenure. Then Bajwa and Faiz pissed all the gains away.
Acha yeh phir pehlwan rewrrhi wala chacha bol raha hai.

He has said this multiple times in multiple interviews.
How do you upload videos to the forum from phone ? because it seems like it restricts some actions on phone browser.

The hole with this theory is that Pakistan engaged Afghanistan first (in the aerial campaign and all).

It's not as if this was the first time there was a suicide bombing in Pakistan, there have been many before. We chose to go into that country first.

Secondly, don't reckon Afghanistan is that much of a diplomatic headache that we can't have dedicated resources focussed on the region.
it is the tta that attacked Pakistan positions at around 2200 hrs n contined doing so till around 00 hrs. PA coordinated response for full effect started after 00 hrs n continues
So yes its the tta that initated this attack on the behest of india/isreal

1- We hit them after the suicide attack with airstrikes
2- And then the cross border escalation starts on the ground and things escalate.

Can't say that after we strike them, and TTA retaliates (with whatever they have), that they are doing it on someone's behest. We expected them to chill after getting bombed? The same happened last time too, the difference being, the cross border firing last time was limited to just that. We are increasing the escalation ladder here.

Besides, there is nothing Afghanistan is doing currently that will limit Pakistan's diplomatic ability here. Not as if we were in any position to help Iran out militarily or otherwise before either.

Had it been India attacking us or something similar, I would've agreed this line of thought. But Afghanistan is a completely separate problem right now IMO.

Now that the buffer zone has been established. Drones should be free to pick off anyone that is deemed a threat inside Afghanistan.

Their towns and villages should be monitored by drones for anyone attempting to organise attacks in Pakistan.

This should be ongoing for the forseeable until TTP and BLA surrender live on television.

Pakistan has made it clear the taliban government is illegitimate so their days are numbered regardless if BLA/TTP surrender.
