Pakistan needs to go after their ammunition storage sites etc. aggressively although I am sure quite a bit has been stored in the make-shift storage in the mountains. This will be a long slog and the only realistic way to solve this is through some sort of a negotiated settlement after blunting the Taliban capability overall.
